From a small dock operation to the Florida Panhandle’s largest seafood distributor.

Family-owned on the Apalachicola waterfront since 1987.

Built on one simple goal.

Steve Rash founded Water Street Seafood in 1987 on Water Street in Apalachicola, a small town with a big fishing tradition. The goal was simple: buy the best seafood coming off the boats and get it to customers faster than anyone else.

That goal built every step between the water and your business: our own Gulf fishing fleet, Florida Oyster Farms, an in-house processing facility, and a refrigerated fleet running 20+ daily routes.

Still family-owned. Still personal.

Every customer works with a dedicated sales representative who understands their menu, volume, and seafood requirements.

Boat to door in 24 hours or less.

We handle the catch from sourcing through delivery, with our own people involved at every step.
